1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They let a website recognise your session between requests.

2. How Gameheim uses cookies

Inside the Service Gameheim uses strictly necessary cookies only. They keep you signed in and protect your session.

On the public pages of the site (presentation, pricing, documentation, legal pages, registration) Gameheim also uses Google Analytics statistics cookies, but only if you accept them in the banner. Until you do, Google Analytics is not loaded and no request reaches Google. They are never used inside the Service, in the mobile app or on the sign-in pages.

We do not use advertising or profiling cookies, and we do not use cookies to track you across other websites.

3. The cookies we set

• Authentication cookies: a short-lived access token and a refresh token, stored as secure, httpOnly cookies, used to keep you signed in and to protect your session.
• Statistics cookies (public site only, with your consent): _ga and _ga_<ID>, set by Google Analytics to tell visits apart and count returning visitors with a random identifier. They expire after 13 months and are deleted when you withdraw consent. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, acting as processor for Virsion; see sections 5 and 6 of the Privacy Policy.
• Your choice: saved in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) as gameheim-consent, for 12 months.

4. Managing cookies

You can change your choice on statistics cookies at any time from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page of the public site. Withdrawing consent deletes the Google Analytics cookies.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the service.
